Lab dinners or Hwesik (회식) are an important part of the work culture in Korea. It builds camaraderie among lab members and a time to get to know each other outside the lab. Since the pandemic, there are many restrictions for gathering, but no we are vaccinated we can gather together again for the first time in 2 years!
